Berea College News & Radio serves as an innovative online platform, entirely produced by students, offering both television and radio broadcasts. The station delivers regular television news segments alongside a 24-hour online radio service, all focused on the unique narrative of the Berea College community. Coverage extends beyond campus to include stories from the city of Berea and commentary on pertinent national issues, often infused with lighter content to engage listeners and viewers alike.

Adhering to high standards of journalistic integrity, the station emphasizes a thorough exploration of diverse perspectives within each story. Students take an active role in the production process, from pitching story ideas to planning, writing, filming, and editing content for broadcast. This hands-on approach provides invaluable experience both on-screen and behind the scenes, allowing students to refine their skills in research, reporting, and interviewing.

Many participating students are enrolled in Berea's Broadcast Journalism courses, pursuing minors in the field. The program has successfully facilitated internships for its students at local television stations such as WKYT in Lexington as well as at national organizations like National Public Radio in Washington, D.C., further enriching their educational experience.
